My bare minerals brush has withstood the test of time whereas my MAC buffing kabuki hasn't. I have had my bare minerals one longer than I have my MAC (over 2 years), but it isn't shedding brush hair like my MAC. I also take very good care of my brushes, washing them with the same awesome shampoo I use on my head (I'm a hair stylist so you know it's not Suave). The bare minerals is of the highest, time-tested quality. I highly recommend buying all the bare minerals brushes because you won't have to buy new ones for years and years if you take care of them!
